 What we Believe at:

   full counsel

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. We believe the Bible is the only God-given authority which man possesses; therefore, all doctrine, faith, hope, and all instruction for the church must be based upon and harmonize with the Bible. We further believe that the Bible gives a true history of the creation of the heavens and earth, and of mankind, and contains correct prophecies of the ages to come regarding the heavens and the earth, and the destiny of mankind. (2 Tim 3:16) (2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in a strict Monotheism,God is numerically ONE. We believe that God is the creator of the heavens and the earth and all mankind. God has manifested himself to mankind as Father (in creation and in the regeneration of believers), Son (God manifested in flesh in the person of Jesus Christ) and Holy Ghost (God's Spirit in activity). We believe that God is infinite in power, and holy in nature, attributes and purpose. God is also omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. (Gen 1:1, Deut 6:4, Mal 2:10, Eph 4:5-6, 1 Cor 8:6, Gen 1:1, John 1:1-10, 14, 1Tim 3:16, Isa 9:6, 2 Cor 3:17-18, Eph 1:4)

We believe that the one God of the Old Testament (Yahweh) became a man in the person of Jesus Christ, and that Jesus, the Son of God, is both fully God and fully man. Jesus is also the visible image of the one invisible God. In Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus' deity is none other than that of the Father – for Jesus Christ is God manifest in flesh. As it pertains to His humanity, Jesus was born of a virgin in time. (Isa 9: 6, John 1:1-10, 14, 1 Tim 3:16, Isa 7:14, Matt 1:23, 16:16, John 14:7-11, 10:30, Col 1:15-17, 2:9-10, 1 Cor 8:6, 2 Cor 5:19)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is none other than the Spirit of God Himself, and of the resurrected Christ, coming to anoint, baptize, fill, and dwell in the hearts and lives of all men who will be obedient to the gospel. The Spirit is also our comforter, sustainer, and keeper. The Spirit is the agent in the New Birth. The Spirit is revealed and received through faith in the name and person of Jesus Christ. Primarily, the Holy Spirit relates to mankind in our adoption as children of God and in our sanctification. (John 4:24, 1 Cor 12:11, Eph 4:4, John 14:16-26, Romans 8:8-11, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Acts 5:3-4, 1 Cor 3:16, 6:19, John 3:5, Titus 3:5, Matt 3:11, Rom 8:15, 1 Cor 6:11)

We believe that sin is the transgression of the law or the commandments of God. The guilt of which has fallen upon all men from the sin of Adam until this present time, the wages and results of which culminate in eternal death. Therefore, all have sinned and are in need of salvation. (1 John 3:4, Romans 5:12, 19, 3:21-23, 6:23, 1 Cor 15:21-22)

We believe that salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ, and that it comes by grace through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. We appropriate our faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ and receive salvation by being obedient to the commandment to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit . We believe that after we are saved from sin, we are commanded to love God and others, and to live holy, soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. (1 Cor 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9, Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4, Titus 2:11-12, Heb 12:14, 2 Cor 7:1, Mark 12: 28-31)

We believe in the necessity of repentance from sin, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new ..birth and the completion of ones salvation experience in regeneration. (Mark 16:15-17; John 3:3-5; Acts 2:38; 1 Cor 12: 13, 1 Peter 3:20, 21; Titus 3:4-5)

We believe in the virgin birth. (Isa 7:14, Matt 1:23)

We also believe in the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including miracles and healing, which are for the church today. We also believe in the laying on of hands, and casting out devils in the name of Jesus Christ and by the Word of God. We also believe in Praise and Worship. (Mark 16:20, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Heb 6:2, Mark 16:18, 1 Tim 4:14,5:22, Acts 19:6, Mark 16:17, Luke 10:17-20, Heb 13:15, John 4:23-24)

We believe that Jesus died for our sins, was resurrected, and ascended into heaven where he presently reigns. We also believe in a literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ after a time of Great Tribulation, both to claim his bride and to execute vengeance on an unbelieving world. (1 Cor 15:1-5, Eph 4: 8-10, Heb 1:1-3, Matt 24:29-31, 2 Thes 2:1-11, 1 Cor 15:20-23, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Rev 20:6)

We believe there is coming a time when all who ever lived will stand before Jesus Christ to be judged and that all who are not saved will be cast into the lake of fire. We believe this judgment to be literal and eternal. (Revelation 20:11-15)
